Whether you enjoy holding babies, telling Bible stories, helping at Summer Spectacular, playing guitar, helping people find classrooms for their children or even assisting in office work, there is a place for you to serve in the GROW Zone!

 
We are excited that you want to check out the Children´s Ministry at Eagle Rock Baptist Church. We want to help you find where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children.  If you have an idea of what area you would like to serve in, please contact Becky Bibleheimer 323-255-4611 or Beckyb@eaglerockbaptist.com for more information.  Your first step to getting involved will be to attend a Children's Ministry Volunteer Orientation.

Let us ease your mind about a few things:

You don't have to be an expert.
Every member of our GROW Zone team has two things in common: a love for God and a passion for children.  If you have those, then you have the two basic ingredients necessary to serve in ERBC's Children's Ministry.  You do not need a degree in early childhood development or elementary education to be a great leader in the GROW Zone.  We will equip and train you for your ministry role.

You don't need all the time in the world.
You can successfully minister to children with a minimal time commitment.  We have many roles that allow you to serve in a time frame that will work for you and your schedule.  For example, during our weekend worship services, in just 1 1/2 hours a week, you will be able to form relationships with children and their parents that will communicate love and value, not only from you, but also from God.

You will not be alone.
You will always be supported in your ministry by the Children's Ministry staff and leadership team.  We also plan enrichment opportunities throughout the year that are designed to encourage, equip, energize and empower you for ministry.  You will not be a lone ranger in your ministry to children --guaranteed!
