We are always happy to see new faces. If you’ve visited Eagle Rock Baptist Church or are thinking of visiting, we hope you find our church to be a warm place where you can connect with God and grow in your faith.
Whether you’ve attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in one before, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. Where do I go? Where should I park? How should I dress? How long does it last? What about my kids?

Here is some information to help you know what to expect:
WHAT TIME IS THE SERVICE?
Saturday Night at 5:30pm
Sunday Morning at 9:00am, 11:00am
*The service lasts just over an hour. All three services are the same.
Come early Sunday morning for a special time of “prefreshments” before each service, or stay late after our Saturday Night Service for a time of fellowship and coffee.
*We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early (especially if you have young children) so you have plenty of time to check your kids into ERock Kids, and for you to find a good seat in the Fellowship Hall before the worship service begins.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
Our greeters will be happy to escort you to wherever you need to go. If you have young children, the greeters will direct you to the ERock Kid Zone where you may register your kids 0-5 or K-6th and trust them to our caring staff. You will receive a bulletin on your way into the Worship Center. This bulletin will include message notes, important information, and a connection card, which you can turn in at the end of the service.
*Each first time guest receives a gift, so be sure to stop by our “New Here, Start Here” Center on your way out!
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
At ERBC, you’ll find people dressed in blue jeans, tailored suits, and everything in between! Whatever is most comfortable for you is fine with us. Some of us are a little more formal in our attire, while others of us are a bit more casual. But we’re not really as interested in what you wear as we are in you –so, please, just come as yourself.
WHAT ARE THE MESSAGES LIKE?
Our worship services feature practical messages of hope that are designed to impact your life in a real way. When you arrive for worship, we’ll provide you with a helpful outline with the bible passages, so you can follow along and make notes. Our goal is to provide you with a message of encouragement that makes a powerful, positive and practical impact on your daily life. Click here for a video/audio podcast.
On the first weekend of each month, our church worships God through a special activity called Communion. Click the link to see more information about Communion.
WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC?
Each of our services, including the Saturday Night Service, has a full band with keys, guitar, bass and drums. Our services include a blend of music ranging from modern hymn arrangements to uplifting ballads and energetic music with a driving beat. We’re not afraid of embracing the old and the new, and we choose songs that bring a message of hope from God’s Word. We also have a Worship Leading Choir that sings on the first Sunday of every month.
WHAT’S AVAILABLE FOR MY YOUNG CHILDREN?
At ERBC we care about kids and their families. We have designed a special place just for kids called Kids Zone! GrowZone and GrowZone Jr. are the environments where your kids will be safe, have fun and learn about God’s word. Each zone is geared to your child’s age and stage. They will receive a message about God’s love and take home practical tools on how they can spread this love. We partner with parents and give you the option to receive tools and training that you can use at home to reinforce this message of God’s love.
WHAT’S AVAILABLE FOR MY JR. & SR. HIGH STUDENTS?
Your teens will have fun, build healthy friendships and be challenged to grow, in our teen venue, Greenhouse. During the Sunday 11:00am service, your middle and high school students (grades 7-12) are invited to an environment designed just for them! Fun games, great music, and discussions on the Bible and faith are just a few of the exciting things happening at Greenhouse!
This is a great way to connect with other students from ERBC who attend schools from all around the area–while growing spiritually.
Just follow the signs to the Youth Room, or ask a volunteer to show you the way. If you have questions, contact Stephanie Porter at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (323) 255-4611.
WHAT’S AVAILABLE FOR ME DURING FOR ME THE WEEK?
During the week, we meet in Life Groups at convenient locations throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. Small Groups are groups of 10-15 people who meet together to study the Bible, grow spiritually, meet new people and have fun.
HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED?
