Encouragement From Proverbs 31
Do the words of Proverbs 31 encourage or discourage you? If your answer is ‘discourage’ then perhaps you’re reading them wrong. Romans 15:4 tells us that “Whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” Judy Mandl looks at Proverbs 31 and encourages us to look at the description of a godly woman, not as a checklist to which we should be trying to measure up, but rather a description of what our hearts should be.
