Eagle Rock Baptist Church FAQs:
Saturday Night at 5:30pm
Sunday Morning at 9:00am & 11:00am
*The service lasts just over an hour. All three services are the same.
Come early Sunday morning for a special time of “prefreshments” before each service, or stay late after our Saturday Night Service for a time of fellowship and coffee.*We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early (especially if you have young children) so you have plenty of time to check your kids into E-Rock Kids (Early Childhood or Elementary), and for you to find a good seat in the Fellowship Hall before the worship service begins.
*We have labeled “Guest Parking” available for you in our parking lot located on Loleta Avenue.
Our greeters will be happy to escort you to wherever you need to go. If you have young children, the greeters will direct you to the E-Rock Kid Zone where you may register your kids 0-5 years or K-5th and trust them to our caring staff. You will receive a bulletin on your way into the Worship Center. This bulletin will include message notes, important information, and a connection card, which you can turn in at the end of the service.
*Each first time guest receives a gift, so be sure to stop by our “New Here, Start Here” Connection Center on your way out!
At ERBC, you’ll find people dressed in blue jeans, tailored suits, and everything in between! Whatever is most comfortable for you is fine with us. Some of us are a little more formal in our attire, while others of us are a bit more casual. But, we’re not really as interested in what you wear… rather we are interested in you! So, please, just come as yourself!
Our worship services feature practical messages of hope that are designed to impact your life in a real way. When you arrive for worship, we’ll provide you with a helpful outline with the bible passages, so you can follow along and make notes. Our goal is to provide you with a message of encouragement that makes a powerful, positive and practical impact on your daily life. Click here for a video/audio podcast.
On the first weekend of each month, our church worships God through a special activity called Communion. Click the link to see more information about Communion.
Each of our services, including the Saturday Night Service, has a full band with keys, guitar, bass and drums. Our services include a blend of music ranging from modern hymn arrangements to uplifting ballads and energetic music with a driving beat. We’re not afraid of embracing the old and the new, and we choose songs that bring a message of hope from God’s Word. We also have a Worship Leading Choir that sings on the first Sunday of every month.
At ERBC we care about kids and their families. We have designed a special place just for E-Rock Kids in our Fellowship Hall, where children are safe, have fun and learn about God’s word. E-Rock Kids Early Childhood is for children 6 weeks to Pre-K. E-Rock Kids Elementary is for kids grades K through 5th. Each zone is geared to your child’s age and stage. They will receive a message about God’s love and take home practical tools on how they can spread this love. We partner with parents and give you the option to receive tools and training that you can use at home to reinforce this message of God’s love. If you have questions, contact email@example.com or call (323) 255-4611.
Your teens will have fun, build healthy friendships and be challenged to grow, in our Student Ministries. Middle and high school students (grades 6-12) are invited to an environment designed just for them on Wednesdays at 7 pm in Chi Hall! Fun games, great music, and discussions on the Bible and faith are just a few of the exciting things happening in ERBC Student Ministries! This is a great way to connect with other students from ERBC who attend schools from all around the area –while growing spiritually. Just follow the signs to the Youth Room, or ask a volunteer to show you the way. If you have questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call (323) 255-4611.
During the week, we meet in Life Groups at convenient locations throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding communities. Small Groups are groups of 10-15 people who meet together to study the Bible, grow spiritually, meet new people and have fun.
There’s even more to ERBC beyond our weekend worship services. Get to know our church and how we can encourage you in your faith-journey. Follow the link to see a few key ways to get to know us better.
