Is Jesus Your Genie?
Although we may never have thought of it this way, many of us want Jesus to be our Genie. Many times our prayers are for something to happen right now. And if our prayers are not answered right away we either get mad, or lose faith. Pastor Rick looks at Proverbs 2:1-8 and reminds us that just as a loving parent doesn't always give their child everything they ask for, God can use what we might call 'unanswered prayer' to deepen our relationship with Him.
