Message: “Guilt & Shame” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” A beleaguered general called his troops together and announced, “We have good news and bad news. The bad news is, we are completely surrounded. The good news is, we can attack the enemy in any direction!”

Sometimes it seems we are attacked on all sides by stress and struggle. When you feel surrounded by things beyond your control, things you’re worried about, fear rises. Sometimes when you turn out the lights to go to bed at night, your mind also darkens and begins to race with “what ifs?” Knotty problems tighten in your thinking, and so does your chest. And often you can’t sleep.

Join us as we focus together on “Finding Freedom from Guilt and Shame.”

Message: “Criticism & Conflict” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” Conflict and criticism are all around us. Just turn the news on and you’ll hear one person criticizing another. On social media there are now terms like “twitter beef.” Have you ever lost sleep over a disagreement? Most of us have. Conflict is not comfortable and many of us don’t know what to do with it.

How do you handle conflict? Are you and avoider? You don’t deal with it. Are you passive? You hope by not dealing with it, it will just go away. Are you a spewer? You tend to think the loudest person wins, so you rant and rave. Maybe you’re a worrier? You worry that you caused conflict before it has happened if it even has.

Conflict related stress hurts us spiritually as well as physically. Ohio State University Of Medicine did a study that showed your immune system weakens as conflict arises in you. It’s no wonder God’s word tell us to get along!

Join us as we look at how can we respond in a Godly way to both conflict and criticism, so we can truly live at peace with others.

Message: “Fear” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” There are so many things in this world that can cause us to be fearful—political and cultural issues, natural disasters, crime, uncertainty—and so much more. But the truth is that our biggest threats are the things we carry within us. Things like anxiety, shame, discouragement, and distrust threaten our joy more than external circumstances. Truly, these internal issues are the most frightful things that keep us up at night. This weekend we’ll look at God’s Word together and deal with the fears that are holding us back.

Message: “Feeling Overwhelmed” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” It’s easy to feel paralyzed by uncertainty. So much of life is “up in the air” and seemingly out of our control. Which is why insecurity harasses us and worry hounds us. And it’s why we find ourselves far too often struggling to fall asleep at night.
How do we replace our anxiety with confidence? How do we learn to truly trust God when it comes to the future, our kids, and the messed-up world we live in?
Join us this weekend as we being a new teaching series called “What Keeps You Up At Night?” Together we will explore what it looks like to push through our fears and put our faith in God.

Message: “A Plan For Change” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “Keep The Change.” When it comes to change, we want an easy formula; a 1-2-3, A-B-C type procedure that results in life transformation. But meaningful change is never that easy. There is no step-by-step process, because it’s not an overnight deal. Real change requires much more. And there are some barriers in our way that we must face and ultimately overcome. This weekend we’ll see that if we want to overcome those barriers, we must be willing to change more than our behaviors. Because true change begins when our thinking, not just our behavior, changes.

Message: “Taking Hold of Change” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “Keep The Change.” We all want to change something in our lives. But no matter what it is, actually changing is never an easy thing to do. Many times, we are held back from making lasting change because of our circumstances, our past, or the times we’ve messed up. But if we truly want to change, we need to begin by letting go of some of those things. In this weekend’s message we will look at an encounter between Jesus and a woman who desperately wanted to change. And through their interaction, we will see that lasting change happens when we finally let go of some things and begin taking hold of Jesus. Join us as we look at “Taking Hold Of Change.”

Message: “The Right Change” from Dr. Rick Mandl

A message from the series “Keep The Change.” What would you change about your life? Let’s face it. We all have things about ourselves we want to change, whether they are big or small. Some people dread, even avoid change, while others seek it out like the next big thing, latest fad or adrenaline rush. When it comes to changing our lives, we think it only takes a certain amount of determination, drive and discipline. But there’s much more to change, and the truth is that real change comes only from God. And when we learn to partner and cooperate with him, we tap into the power that can radically change everything about our lives, forever.

This weekend we begin our new teaching series “Keep The Change.” Together we’ll see that the change we want isn’t necessarily the change we need. I hope you can join us as we look at “The Right Change.”
