Message: “Where Was God On Easter Morning?” from Dr. Rick Mandl
A message from the series “Where is God?.”
A message from the series “Where is God?.”
A message from the series “Where is God?.”
A message from the series “This Is Jesus.” Have you ever received really bad advice like this…
“Don’t use your turn signal. It’s no one’s business where you’re going!”
“It’s OK to pet my German Shepherd. He hasn’t bitten anyone in weeks.”
“You can trust my marriage advice. I’ve been married 5 times.”
OK – so some bad advice is easy to spot. But where do you turn when you REALLY need direction in your life? And how do you know for sure God’s BEST direction for your life? Discover the answers as we continue our THIS IS JESUS teaching series with a message about how Jesus Directs My Path.
A message from the series “This Is Jesus.” Would you like to feel more of God’s presence? Experience more of God’s blessing? Have you felt closer to God in the past, but now you don’t, and you want to get back to where you were? If the answer to ANY of these questions is yes, then don’t miss THIS SERMON as we continue our new series, “This Is Jesus” and look at how Jesus transforms us.
A message from the series “This Is Jesus.” Oscar Wilde knew what he was talking about when he wrote:
“I can resist everything except temptation.”
We are all tempted by something! And for most of us, temptation leaves us feeling guilty and defenseless. But did you know that Jesus was tempted, too… yet he didn’t give in? Believe it or not… the same can be true for you!
Join us to discover 3 steps to overcome EVERY temptation you face as we study the temptation story of Jesus in our new THIS IS JESUS teaching series. When you learn to apply these steps, you will be able to stand strong, let go of the guilt of feeling tempted, and experience God’s power in your life.
A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” A beleaguered general called his troops together and announced, “We have good news and bad news. The bad news is, we are completely surrounded. The good news is, we can attack the enemy in any direction!”
Sometimes it seems we are attacked on all sides by stress and struggle. When you feel surrounded by things beyond your control, things you’re worried about, fear rises. Sometimes when you turn out the lights to go to bed at night, your mind also darkens and begins to race with “what ifs?” Knotty problems tighten in your thinking, and so does your chest. And often you can’t sleep.
Join us as we focus together on “Finding Freedom from Guilt and Shame.”
A message from the series “What Keeps You Up At Night?.” Conflict and criticism are all around us. Just turn the news on and you’ll hear one person criticizing another. On social media there are now terms like “twitter beef.” Have you ever lost sleep over a disagreement? Most of us have. Conflict is not comfortable and many of us don’t know what to do with it.
How do you handle conflict? Are you and avoider? You don’t deal with it. Are you passive? You hope by not dealing with it, it will just go away. Are you a spewer? You tend to think the loudest person wins, so you rant and rave. Maybe you’re a worrier? You worry that you caused conflict before it has happened if it even has.
Conflict related stress hurts us spiritually as well as physically. Ohio State University Of Medicine did a study that showed your immune system weakens as conflict arises in you. It’s no wonder God’s word tell us to get along!
Join us as we look at how can we respond in a Godly way to both conflict and criticism, so we can truly live at peace with others.
